Tiffany PociechaThanks for visiting us. I’m Tiffany, Owner and lead designer at Kitchens Unlimited inc. I have a sweet little girl, adorable baby boy, Two crazy dogs and a cat with attitude. I am married to a fun loving great guy and I love to cook, bake and attempt to be crafty.

I am lucky that as a child my very right brained mom let me experiment and play with moving furniture, painting, and selecting any and all needed fixtures and finishes. (She even let me paint a bathroom ceiling pink).

Okay maybe that pink ceiling needs more explanation…. I really don’t even like pink! But, did you know that when light is reflecting very cool grey, one way to warm it up is painting the ceiling a warmer color? And you know what it worked! No one even noticed the pink bathroom ceiling but they did notice that they didn’t look like a zombie in the mirror any more.

My mother still relys on my design skills even today. She recognized my love and ability to see how moving or changing a small thing can affect the use and feel of the room for the better. I further pursued this interest by completing my BA in Interior Design and becoming a CID (Certified Interior Designer in the state of California). I have been professionally transforming spaces for clients since 2003 and took over the reins of Kitchens Unlimited in 2010.

As you can see, design was in my blood long before I received my degree. I am a problem solver at heart. Designing a beautiful kitchen is not that hard, the hard part is designing a kitchen that is functional & beautiful. I love to help my clients by providing insight and education while empowering them to create the kitchens & spaces that they can thrive in.

I would love to hear from you. Drop me a quick note. (look for the form at the bottom of this page)

My passion for design began at a young age- when most little girls were creating a make believe life for their Barbie dolls, I was imagining what the dream house would look like if I moved that couch or added window treatments to the back windows! Well, I grew up but my love for design and architecture did not.

After high school I pursued my dream of becoming a designer. That adventure landed me in San Francisco at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. I graduated at the top of my class with honors and received a degree in Interior Design and Architecture.

Fast forward many years later- I am now happily married with a very spirited two year old. I live in Oakley and am very active with the various mom’s groups.

You will find that I am very outgoing and very vivacious. I love taking design risks and going out on a limb to give you the best space for your home and family. I love to be involved in all my projects and am very attentive to details! Design is what fuels my desire to create and transform spaces into functional works of art. I am so excited to work with you and create that dream space you have been envisioning!

Melissa- Office Manager/Assistant

Hi there! I’m Melissa, Tiffany’s assistant.

I am a Mom to a wonderful young boy who keeps me busy with baseball and other activities. In my spare time I enjoy crocheting, and my once a month Bunco groups.

I work, mostly, behind the scenes. I take care of the billing, filing, ordering samples, etc. Have you received and e-mail from Tiffany? Chances are, I might have actually sent that to you. 😉

Jennifer KlineJennifer- Kitchen & Bath Designer

I found the path to becoming a kitchen designer quite by accident, or so it seemed, and I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled into a job which perfectly suits my skills and interests. After being hired for a support position in the Kitchen Design department at a home improvement store, I became really interested (and quite envious) of what the designers were doing. I was then given the opportunity to take classes in kitchen design, and receive lots of valuable on-the-job training. I loved having a job that allowed me to combine creative problem solving abilities, attention to detail, and my interest in design. When the home center closed its doors in 1998, I was hired as a designer for a design/build showroom, where I stayed for many years, overseeing the remodel of countless kitchens and baths.

I eventually got weary of commuting, and took some time off, calling it an early retirement. During this time, I was able to earn a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Design from UC Berkeley Extension, complete a 200 hour advanced studies yoga training program, and enjoy bonding with 3 new granddaughters. I’ve been happy to be able to join the team at Kitchens Unlimited, bringing a renewed interest and enthusiasm to the job. When I’m not working, I stay busy spending time with my husband, walking my energetic dog, taking yoga classes and visiting my grandchildren.
